 The Pharma grade range of gases developed by Air Products is designed for use in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and veterinary industries where quality and traceability are essential. They can be used either for research, development, production or analysis.
Pharma grade gases are compliant with the requirements of European directives and meet all requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia, thus meeting the purity requirements of the US and Japanese Pharmacopoeia. They are produced according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) part II and are analysed in full compliance with the European Pharmacopoeia. They can therefore be used to produce Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceuticals with complete peace of mind.
Each Pharma grade gas is delivered with a Certificate of Analysis as standard, thus guaranteeing full traceability back to the raw material. Furthermore, Pharma grade gases are delivered in dedicated cylinders and packs, all equipped with Residual Pressure Valves (RPV) to guarantee consistency of quality and avoid any risk of back contamination. Pharma grade gases are also available in bulk delivery.
