Large Load Movement Taking Place on 8th November 2009

28th October 2009 —On 8th Novembera sizeable item of equipment is set to leave Air Products’ Manufacturing Facility in Acrefair, North Wales, bound for the Ellesmere Port Dock Complex. 

The item of equipment to be moved on the 8th November will be a Crossover Box measuring 7 metres in length, 6.3 metres wide, 4.3 metres high and weighing 20 tonnes.  The load is being shipped to Papua New Guinea.

“When organising large load movements, we work closely with the Highways Agency, local authorities and police forces across three counties.  This enables us to mitigate any impact on the local community and ensure the safe and smooth transit of our load,” commented John Taylor, Shipping Officer. 

On the 8th November, the column is due to leave Acrefair at 9.30am travelling by route C and arrive at Ellesmere Port around 3pm.
