AIR PRODUCTS TO INCREASE PRICES FOR POLYURETHANE AMINE AND METAL CATALYSTS, SILICONE SURFACTANTS AND SPECIALTY PRODUCTS
21st October 2005 — Effective November 15, 2005, Air Products will implement a price increase of up to ten percent, or as contracts allow, in Europe, Middle East and Africa for all Dabco® and Polycat® polyurethane amine and metal catalysts, Dabco DC® silicone surfactants and LK® surfactants.
This price increase is necessary to at least partially offset significant cost increases seen in raw materials, energy, fuel, and distribution expenses. Air Products is a global leader in the polyurethane additives industry, offering products and technologies that enable its customers to maintain and grow their businesses profitably.
