AIR PRODUCTS ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASES
FOR ALL EPOXY PRODUCT LINES
20 th October 2004 — Air Products today announced that, effective November 1, 2004, it will implement a price increase on its epoxy hardener product lines sold into the European region. This increase, ranging from 4-8% for the hardeners, 6% for the phenolics and 12% for the aromatics/sundries, is necessary to offset the rapid escalating costs for energy, petrochemical based raw materials, and drums used in conjunction with the production and delivery of these products.
