Registered health care professionals can order oxygen using a Home Oxygen Order Form (HOOF). The HOOF will set out the patient’s oxygen need and let Air Products know the time requirement for installation or delivery of the home oxygen equipment. Air Products is able to supply home oxygen equipment within the following time periods:
Emergency supply
An emergency supply can be provided by Air Products within four hours of a valid emergency HOOF being received. This response is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week throughout the year. The emergency supply is also available on bank holidays.
Hospital discharge requiring next day supply
Air Products offers a next day hospital discharge facility which is available if a HOOF is received before 5pm for action the following working day.
Standard response time
Orders that are not ‘emergency’ or ‘hospital discharge’ will be delivered within three working days of the HOOF being received by Air Products.
