Polar Snow

In partnership with Polar Technologies International, Air Products have developed PolarSnow, a state-of-the-art technology for the production of 'real snow'.

Identical to natural snow but produced using liquid nitrogen, PolarSnow can be mass produced at any required quality, from perfect powder for skiing or snowboarding, to icy slush for tyre testing. PolarSnow has been used on the indoor and out-of-season ski slopes all year round and for events such as the ISF World Pro Snowboarding Tour. We have even developed a facility for testing tyres in snow for the automotive industry.
