Information for CryoService’s customers
Air Products & CryoService (CSL)
From December 2011, CryoService Limited (CSL) will become part of Air Products, in a move that builds on our very successful partnership to date. We are committed to maintaining the existing CryoService’s base in Worcester and building its profile as the Air Products’ global Centre of Excellence in CryoEase® products and services.
We’ll bring you more information about the change as it happens. In the meantime, here are the answers to some of the questions that current CSL customers may have.
Why is CSL becoming part of Air Products?
The relationship between CSL and Air Products, which started over a decade ago, has been highly successful. CSL’s cryogenic and specialist gases supply operations to science, leisure and industry in the UK, as well as its commitment to customer service, innovation and technology, strongly complement Air Products’ own business.
This move enables Air Products to build its business in these areas and enhance it by including niche markets such as life sciences, while extending CryoEase® services into new geographies.
Will the products and services I buy change?
As a valued customer, you will not see any changes to the service you currently receive, or the products you buy, from us. We are committed to maintaining and enhancing our relationship with all CSL customers.
Will the way we do business change?
In the coming weeks and months, as CSL and Air Products come closer together, you may see some changes in the way we do business with you. We will do our utmost to introduce these as smoothly as possible and will keep you informed on changes as they happen.
Will I still deal with my existing sales contact?
Yes. Please continue to order your products in the same way you would normally.
Will the name CSL change to Air Products?
Yes, the trading name will change. However, we are very experienced in this type of integration and will advise in advance of any changes which may affect you.
What is happening to CSL’s sites around the country?
All existing CSL locations will continue to provide all products and services post integration.
How long have Air Products and CSL been in partnership?
Air Products acquired its original 25% shareholding in CryoService in 1998, followed by the acquisition of a majority shareholding in 2008.
How will I learn about further developments?
We’ll keep CSL customers informed by letter and via their usual CSL contact. If you have any further questions about the change, please speak to your usual CSL contact. |
