Air Products at Acrefair

From Acrefair, the company manufactures and exports industrial gases plant and equipment all over the world, including process equipment for air separation, natural gas liquefaction, hydrogen purification and other gas processing applications.

The moving of the equipment manufactured at Acrefair to the Ellesmere Port Dock complex is another extraordinary feat of engineering requiring meticulous planning. Each movement requires the co-operation of the Highways Agency, police and local authorities across three counties.

Air Products employs approximately 140 highly skilled, local craftsmen at Acrefair and a further 50 administration and management staff.
