Air Products can supply Oxygen via "On site Generation" located on your site. State-of-the-art technology offers a highly reliable supply of oxygen offering significant cost savings over trucked-in liquid. Our PRISM® Oxygen systems are designed to satisfy your needs over a broad range of volumes, pressures and purities to address specific needs of industries such as glass, metals, steel, cement, pulp and paper, waste water. The PRISM® Oxygen system utilised by these plants is a method of separating air into its two principal components, nitrogen and oxygen, using adsorption technology.

Although Oxygen VSA operation is a batch process, an uninterrupted, consistent oxygen flow to the customer is maintained from a product buffer tank. During a cycle, the adsorber vessel(s) are alternately pressurised with air to produce oxygen, then evacuated to regenerate the adsorbent and remove nitrogen. Oxygen for customer use needed during the portion of the cycle during which oxygen is not being produced, is supplied from the product buffer tank.
