Balloon filling

Universal Inflators

  1. Ensure the cylinder valve is closed
  2. Connect the inflator to the cylinder using the push fit connection
  3. To open the cylinder valve turn the hand wheel anti-clockwise
  4. Place a latex balloon over the blue filling nozzle
  5. Tilt the nozzle downward to release gas (holding the neck of the balloon tight around the nozzle)
  6. Once inflated to the correct size, return the nozzle to its original position and remove the balloon.
    Tie the balloon
  7. When finished inflating, turn off the cylinder valve by turning the hand wheel clockwise
  8. Once the valve is closed, drain the residual gas in the inflator by tilting the nozzle downward
  9. Remove the inflator (never attempt to remove the inflator whilst the cylinder valve is on or before the residual gas has been drained)


Push Valve



  1. Ensure the cylinder valve is closed
  2. Connect the inflator to the cylinder using the push fit connection
  3. Open the cylinder valve by turning the hand wheel anti-clockwise
  4. Place a latex balloon over the blue filling nozzle
  5. Pull the nozzle back to release gas (holding the neck of the balloon tight around the nozzle)
  6. Once inflated to the correct size, return the nozzle to its original position and remove the balloon.
    Tie the balloon
  7. When finished inflating, turn off the cylinder valve by turning the hand wheel clockwise
  8. Once the valve is closed, drain the residual gas in the inflator by pulling back the nozzle
  9. Remove the inflator (never attempt to remove the inflator whilst the cylinder valve is on or before the residual gas has been drained)


Universal Plus



  1. Ensure the cylinder valve is closed
  2. Connect the inflator to the cylinder using the push fit connection
  3. Open the cylinder valve by turning the hand wheel anti-clockwise
  4. Place the foil balloon's valve onto the brass filling nozzle
  5. Pull the nozzle back to release gas (holding the neck of the balloon tight around the nozzle)
  6. The inflator will automatically stop when the balloon is fully inflated.
    Return the nozzle to its original position and remove balloon.
    The balloon is automatically sealed and will not require tying
  7. When finished inflating, turn off cylinder valve by turning the hand wheel clockwise
  8. Once the valve is closed, drain residual gas by pulling back the nozzle
  9. Remove the inflator (never attempt to remove the inflator whilst the cylinder valve is on or before the residual gas has been drained)
